UpdownUp will be performing on Friday, August 9 at Molly Malone's.

The band is Richard Devletian and Jason Ryterband.  With one bandmate a former member of Jimmy Gnecco's Ours (Devletian) and the other an ex-acapella group leader and engineer - the two might seem like an unlikely duo… However, when their individual expertise melds together for UpdownUp - the duo produce sweeping sounds that offer hints of electronica and chill worthy vocals.

been busy as of late and haven't been keeping up with shows as much.  the last ones i went to (that i remember, anyway) are camera obscura at the wiltern, milo greene at the masonic lodge (new album being recorded !!!), rodrigo y gabriela at the bowl, and pink martini at the bowl.  coming up: local natives at the greek.  summer in LA = the best.
