quite the eventful monday-- went straight from work to the bootleg theatre in echo park, where the always delightful lucy schwartz was playing a free show. her new(ish) songs from her EP keep me, released back in nov. 2011, definitely indicate more depth and range. plus, she likes to sing about ghosts... the singer from aqualung also made a special appearance for one of her songs @ the show.

my only regret is not switching from wedges to flats for the show, as both of my feet feel really smushed right now. meh. #careergirlproblems
and then i get home, check facebook, and WHAT. i am pleasantly surprised to discover that the sun and the sea (three members of an ex-band known as the graduate) just put out a new EP today. enjoy.
so excited for this, y'all. i'm on my fifth round of listens.
