M83 with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra
Blending shimmering synths, ambient pop and progressive textures, L.A.-based, French-born M83 (Anthony Gonzalez) makes his Bowl debut, with orchestra. The NY Times called his successful Grammy-nominated Hurry Up, We're Dreaming “vibrant, elegant and unpredictable.” N.Y. electronic pop duo Phantogram opens.
September 28 - 8 PM Sharp
Vampire Weekend
N.Y.'s pop adventurers return to the Bowl with a new record, Modern Vampires of the City. Renaissance man Zach Condon and his band Beirut blend traditional European music with modern American rock.
